Lecture by Prof. Christopher McCrudden on "Constitutionalism and Social Rights"

We would like to invite you to a lecture on "Constitutionalism and Social Rights", which will take place on 21 March at 16:00 in room 305 of the PFUK building. The guest speaker for this event will be Professor Christopher McCrudden, a renowned international expert on constitutionalism and human rights based at the University of Michigan and Queen's University Belfast. In his lecture, he will address a number of topical social rights issues in the context of constitutionalism, such as the problem of justifying social rights through the lens of constitutionalist principles, the relationship between political and legal discourse in the search for the optimal scope of social rights protection, and the processes of Europeanization of social rights. We hope that this lecture will be of interest to all those interested in constitutional law, human rights or social rights.
