Lecture by Sir Geoffry Nice and Aldo Zammit Borda on the issue of the status of the Uyghurs in China

Dear readers,

we would like to invite you to a lecture organized by our Center and the Forum for Human Rights. The lecture will be attended by Sir Geoffrey Nice, President of the Uyghur Tribunal in London, Prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, and Aldo Zammit Borda, Head of Research and Investigations at the Uyghur Tribunal in London, Director of the Centre for Access to Justice and Inclusion at Anglia Ruskin University. They will build on a previous talk by survivors of the Chinese camps to offer a legal perspective on the issue. The lecture will be moderated by Ondřej Klimeš from the Oriental Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. The lecture will take place on 24 October at 6pm in Room 100, Faculty of Law, Charles University.
