The Centre for Constitutionalism and Human Rights invites you to a conference titled “Conflicts in the Time of the Crises of Universalism: Cross-Regional Perspectives,” which will take place as part of the OP JAK project No. CZ.02.01.01/00/22_008/0004595 Beyond Security: Role of Conflict in Resilience-Building, involving the Centre and the Faculty of Arts of Charles University. The conference will be held on September 27, 2024, from 9:45 at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University, Špork Palace, Hybernská 3, Room No. 306.
This conference, addressing a highly relevant topic, will feature prominent figures from international academia. In two panels, they will explore universalism with a focus on cultural wars and constitutional evolution in the 21st century, particularly in relation to conflicts. During the event, attendees will have the opportunity to reflect on both external and internal cultural wars and their impact on society, human rights, and international law, as well as on constitutional evolution following conflicts or amidst political unrest.
We believe that this lecture will offer valuable insights not only to students of political science, sociology, international relations, and law but also to the general public. We look forward to seeing you! 💙
*The conference is expected to end at 3:00 PM, and there will be a one-hour lunch break from 12:00 to 1:00 PM.
