Human Rights in European Constitutional Order II. – Jean Monnet Module

Writer: CHRCHR

After a successful winter semester with “Human Rights in the European Constitutional Order I,“ we invite you to a new follow-up course on human rights within the framework of European Union law. This time, in the summer semester, we will focus on the standard of protection for vulnerable groups in EU law.

The aim of the course is to explore in detail the human rights issues of marginalized groups, such as migrants, LGBT+ persons, Roma, religious minorities, and other socially and economically disadvantaged groups. Additionally, the course will address key principles such as equality, non-discrimination, and dignity. The course will be led by the head of the centre, prof. Hofmannová, together with dr. Řepa, with contributions from distinguished lecturers from renowned institutions such as the University of Michigan, Queen's University Belfast, University Union in Belgrade, and Universiteit Leiden.

If you are interested in this course, please visit our registration form: https://forms.gle/rT4NP9UAGcwt5FCX9 Registration is open until midnight on February 11, 2024.
